One yard for every fire you make
A Sunday braai, a fire in the lounge in July, or a twelve-hour brisket in the smoker — the wood is different for each, and we stock all of it.
- For the braai
- Rooikrans and Port Jackson for everyday cooking, black wattle and kameeldoring when you need coals that last.
- For the fireplace
- Dense, low-smoke wood in bags that carry easily into the house and stack neatly next to the hearth.
- For the smoker
- Plum for a sweet, gentle smoke; olive for something richer. Both in chunks, loose or bagged.

What people say
Sample reviews — placeholder text to be replaced with real customer feedback
"Ordered on a Friday morning and the wood was on the stoep by two o'clock. Dry, clean and it lit first time. We have not bought anywhere else since."
Anneke van der Merwe · Bloubergstrand
"The kameeldoring is worth every cent. One 30kg bag carried us through a whole afternoon of braaiing and still had coals for the potjie."
Dylan Petersen · Table View
"We order before we drive up and it is waiting for us. The driver tapped my card at the gate — no fuss at all."
Marius & Ilse · Langebaan holiday home

Yes. Our drivers carry a card machine, so you can tap or swipe at your gate when the wood is offloaded. Just choose 'Card on delivery' at checkout so the driver brings the machine along.
We do. A large part of our business is regular standing orders for restaurants, guest houses, wine farms and holiday rentals. Give us a call or a WhatsApp and we will work out volume pricing and a delivery schedule that suits your kitchen.
Rooikrans is the Cape favourite — it lights easily and gives you a hot, workable coal bed. If you want a longer cook or a big potjie, go for black wattle or Namibian kameeldoring. Port Jackson is the best value when you are feeding a crowd.
Plum wood for a sweet, mild smoke on pork, ribs, chicken and fish. Olive wood for a richer, more savoury smoke on lamb, beef and vegetables. Both are sold in chunks, loose or by the bag.
