About this wood
If you grew up braaiing in the Western Cape, you know rooikrans. It lights quickly, burns hot and drops a deep bed of coals that stays workable long after the flames have died down. Our rooikrans is dry, dense and sorted by hand so you are not paying for rot or dust.
How it burns
Quick to light, very hot coals, moderate burn time. Ideal for chops, boerewors, steak and potjie.
